Here at Petty’s, along with everyone around the world, we are watching an unprecedented situation unfold. As a small, family-run business operating in what is largely a client-facing industry, the impact of Covid-19 cannot be understated and is not yet fully understood.
However, our immediate and most pressing priority is the well-being and safety of both our staff and beloved customers. Jenny and I wanted to take this opportunity to reassure all of you that we will continue to put the necessary measures in place to provide a safe environment for all concerned.
We have been extremely proactive in our approach to dealing with the pandemic, taking the decision to close our offices before the Prime Minister made his announcement on Monday 23rd March, and will continue to do all that we can to protect our staff, clients, and the wider community wherever possible. We will also monitor the ongoing situation closely and abide by the guidelines laid out by Propertymark.
Moving away from our home base in Wanstead hasn't been an easy task, but everyone here has pulled together and we've continued to operate at full strength throughout, albeit from different locations. All of our staff are now set up at home and things are very much business as usual for us here at Petty's, bar the obvious inability to conduct viewings for the foreseeable future.
I'm sure many of you will have property related questions and, as ever, we will be only too happy to help out wherever we can. We will also regularly update this page with any pertinent news stories and resources.
